If design isn’t profitable, then it’s art.
It hasn’t been long since the last redesign. As I`m always looking to refresh my image I decided it is time to go further then just website redesign.
I am have redesigned my logo, making it much simpler and more versatile for other uses. In addition I have refreshed the typeface.
The new website will have different navigation and content delivery. It will be built on WordPress. Hoping to launch soon.
Wheatley Info is a new community and visitor resource for the village of Wheatley, Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.
On it we offer information about the area, on public transport links, upcoming events, a business directory and the classified ads.
Hopefully the site will grow into a definite resource of information for Wheatley.
Built on WordPress. Have a look
For a long time I`ve been a bit annoyed with having all these applications installed on my PC for various stuff. None of them are connected to each other, so I had to open one, do stuff, save it, open in another and do something else with it. I realise that for work I do native applications are essential, because they need processing power to create and render, but there are thing I do very seldom. Things like word processing, spreadsheets and powerpoint presentations.
So it dawned on me that I can jump ship. Google Docs have become very powerful. They offer all the functionality that a regular user needs. And the cool thing is they are always available and accessible from everywhere through a web client and mobile apps. I know that Docs have been around for ages and I was looking at it but as I had MS Office installed I never used their services.
So today I uninstalled Office. For good. I uploaded my documents to Google Docs and they work. My complex spreadsheet retained all the functions and cross-references.
Life is Good. Life is in the Cloud.

To bad, at least they got a large sum of money couple of years ago. Now, Zuckerberg is able to focus on other things.

is finally here. It`s been two years since the last redesign and it was about time. I switched from Joomla to WordPress, which I`m just starting to learn. Might do a complete redesign in a couple of months, once I get to grips with it.
